Arcon Ring purchases assets, equipment and processes from Charter Automotive (Ring Division)
We are pleased to announce on October 25, 2011 Arcon Ring and Specialty purchased from Charter Automotive ( formerly Milwaukee Wire Products ) their entire retaining ring process. This includes all tooling, equipment and assets.
For over 50 years "Charter" has been producing driveline/u-joint retaining rings for every domestic automotive and transportation manufacturer in America. I would like to acknowledge their dedication to quality and excellence and give thanks to the Mellowes family and all the individuals at Charter that developed this very special retaining ring manufacturing process...it has literally kept the American automotive industry moving.
Similar to Charter, for the last 35 years Arcon Ring has been manufacturing and supplying custom made wire snap/retaining rings and stamped rings to every industry imaginable. We look forward to continuing Charter's tradition of excellence. Together lets keep our country on the road to success.
